做生意最重要的是客户,不仅仅要开发新客户,也要维系好与老客户之间的关系。今天就说说年底了,给客户的那封邮件应该写点什么。

思路应该是10%大环境,做个引言就行了。90%是你们两家公司之间的事。这才有意义。我建议的结构大致上是:

1、大环境:今年怎么样,但大环境也要是跟你生意有关的事。

eg. 2021年的大事如疫情,亚马逊封号,物流等事情,则相当有关。可以简单写写对你的影响。

2、数据:你们之间的贸易数据。这个分类可以是以时间分,例如最简单的以月份去分。

1到12月每月的销售数字。但有时这个数据的意义不大。你说,你能看出什么来?二月比十月少?春节啊那不正常的吗?下半年比上半年生意多,又是不是正常呢?要说这些有没有意义,也得看行业了。其他的方法我建议是按品类,按产品,按项目。但不论你怎样分类,重点是你能不能从数据中得到什么结论。记住,data到information再到message,这个三步曲是在分析任何资料时都要有的思路。

3、Highlight:我也不知中文用什么字比较好,反正就是大事回顾。如果你今年出现过重大客诉,甚至赔过钱的,不妨利用这机会说说你们从中学习到什么。懂得从失败中学习的人不少,但懂得跟爸爸总结自己是如何因为那次跌倒而进步了的小孩,绝无仅有。

4、展望:安利时间。所谓展望,说穿了就是趁机安利一下你的客户,也是你整个邮件最值得做的部分。

举例说明:

By the end of this exceptional year, may I express my gratitude for all the hard work of you and your team. I would also like to take this chance to conduct a short review of what we have done together during this uneasy year. It is going to take a while but I am sure it worth.

Worldwide, we have Covid 19 and trade conflicts this year; internally we have problems related to raw material, exchange rate, and so on. In the figure below you see we were not so smooth earlier but the latter half of the year orders grow stronger and result in the same level of demand as last year.

The XXX project/product worth highlight as a single product with the strongest growth (you purchase more than 10 containers which contribute to 25% of our total volume).

Although it wasn’t an easy start, we learn from the mistake and move on. The quality problem was recovered and stamped to the heart of our workers so much that their sense of quality is highly improved. The problem fixing experience turned out to be our strong competitive which facilitate us to become your supplier of priority.

Moving forward, we want to do more business with you. (Of course!) This is already our 3rd years of relationship and we do enjoy working together with a business like yours. We are developing more product for your choice. We are building up a stronger team to serve our customers better. We are trying to extend our capability to make goods available to you more locally in a timely manner.
